Site Connection Plans

 

Site Connection Plans, also known as SD1&2 or Storm Detention and Retention, are building plans with corresponding hydraulic calculations that show how stormwater will drain off a property.  These plans are required by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to connect to the New York City sewer system

Cross Connection Plans, also known as Backflow Prevention, are plans required by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to prevent contamination of New York City’s drinking water and to obtain sprinkler and domestic water service for a building

Plumbing Plans

 

Plumbing Plans are detailed building floor plans that show the placement and sizing of sanitation and stormwater drainage, sewer ventilation, and domestic water and gas piping.  Approval of these plans is required by the Department of Buildings (DOB) for any plumbing-related construction

Sprinkler Plans (+Fire Alarm)

 

Sprinkler Plans are detailed building floor plans that show sprinkler placement, pipe layout and sizing, and hydraulic pressure calculations.  Approval of these plans is required by the Department of Buildings (DOB) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) prior to the installation of a building's fire sprinkler systems

Mechanical HVAC Plans

 

Mechanical HVAC Plans are detailed building floor plans that show duct sizing and placement of cooling and heating equipment, fresh air vents, exhaust systems, and energy recovery ventilation.  Approval of these plans is required by the Department of Buildings (DOB) for ductwork and mechanical equipment installation
